This Nurse Practitioner role supports the management of Pulmonary Critical Care Service Line patients, assisting with admissions, rounds, consults, history and physicals, discharges, and other clinical duties within their scope of practice.
Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing or Physician Assistant program, current Tennessee licensure, national certification in a specialty area, and ACLS/BLS certification.
Additional skills include prescriptive authority, proficiency in assessing critically ill patients, and performing procedures such as intubation, central line, arterial line placement, and ventilator management. Strong communication skills and computer knowledge are essential.
Preferred candidates have 1-3 years of healthcare experience, critical care background, and prior Nurse Practitioner experience. The position is full-time, days, Monday through Friday, located in Cookeville.
