Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient addiction treatment team in Taos, NM. No prior addiction medicine experience is required, as training is provided. The role involves providing assessments, prescribing and monitoring Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.

Provide clinical evaluations, diagnosis, and ongoing management for patients with substance use disorders.

Prescribe and monitor MAT medications, ensuring safety and adherence.

Conduct comprehensive assessments, educate patients, and coordinate follow-up care.

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.

Participate in crisis intervention and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications include an active license in NM, a master’s or doctoral degree, and at least 1 year of clinical experience, with some familiarity in addiction medicine preferred.
