We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA’s disability benefits process.
Key responsibilities include conducting physical exams, reviewing electronic medical records, accurately documenting findings, and providing medical opinions based on assessments. This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication.
Qualifications required are an active, unrestricted NP or PA license, proficiency in electronic documentation, and comfort with web-based portals. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to manage their caseload efficiently.
Position details: Full-time, in-person, with a caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily. Equipment including a computer and documentation tools are provided.
