We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA’s disability benefits process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting in-person disability assessments for Veterans
- Reviewing and analyzing electronic medical records via a secure web portal
- Accurately documenting exam findings and completing VA forms
- Providing medical opinions based on assessment findings
This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication. The position is part-time, with in-person examinations, managing a caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily.
Qualifications include:
- Active, unrestricted NP or PA license
- Comfort with technology and electronic documentation
- Strong analytical and time management skills
