We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA’s benefits process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting focused physical exams and reviewing electronic medical records.
- Accurately documenting exam findings and completing VA documentation.
- Providing medical opinions based on assessments.
This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication.
Qualifications and skills:
- Active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
- Proficiency in electronic documentation and web portals.
- Strong analytical, time management, and empathetic communication skills.
Position details:
- Part-time, in-person role, Tuesday-Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
- Caseload of 3-5 Veterans per day.
- Equipment provided for documentation.
