Role: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner specializing in NICU care, working alongside neonatologists, leadership, residents, and nursing staff in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for critically ill and recovering term and preterm infants in Level 2 and Level 3 NICUs.
- Manage deliveries, including high-risk cases and infants under 35 weeks gestation.
- Perform admissions, history-taking, physical assessments, and ongoing management of NICU patients.
- Conduct procedures such as intubation, umbilical line placement, chest tubes, arterial puncture, arterial line placement, and ventilator management.
- Assist with delivery room management and oversee patient care during shifts.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner certification (required).
- Experience in neonatal or critical care preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in neonatal procedures and patient management.
- Ability to work flexible shifts (8, 16, or 24 hours).
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills.
