Role: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner specializing in neonatal intensive care, working within a collaborative NICU team alongside neonatologists, residents, and nursing staff. Responsible for providing advanced care to critically ill and recovering infants, including high-risk deliveries and ongoing patient management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend deliveries and manage high-risk infants, including those less than 35 weeks gestation
- Perform admissions, history-taking, and physical assessments
- Manage NICU patients with procedures such as intubation, umbilical line placement, chest tubes, arterial puncture, arterial line placement, and ventilator management
- Provide continuous assessments and treatments, ensuring patient safety and care quality
- Flexible shift options (8, 16, or 24 hours) with no outpatient clinics
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner certification
- Proficiency in neonatal procedures and critical care management
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
