Seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) for a part-time, contract role performing Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams for U.S. Veterans across multiple sites nationwide, primarily in Rock Springs, WY.
Duration: 6-12 months with potential extension; start ASAP after credentialing.
Hours: 1-2 days/week, with possible travel to other locations in WY; approximately 16 hours/week.
Pay: $70-$75/hour, with flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities include reviewing medical histories, conducting web-guided exams, and completing electronic Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) within 48 hours. Exams may include general medical assessments and ancillary testing like X-rays or labs.
Qualifications: Master’s in Nursing or PA program, active license, primary care experience, computer skills, and ability to work independently. VA or exam experience preferred but not required; training provided.
Must be able to start within one month and commute to Rock Springs, WY.
