Nurse Practitioner

The Advance Practice Provider (APP) (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) plays a key role in delivering high-quality patient care.

  • They evaluate, diagnose, monitor, and manage patients using advanced assessment skills and clinical knowledge.
  • Work collaboratively with supervising physicians within a primary care team.
  • Require post-graduate education, licensure, BLS, and ACLS certifications; no prior experience needed.
  • Must possess organizational, communication, interpersonal, and technical skills, including proficiency in medical record charting and computer use.
  • Handle stress, make decisions under pressure, and manage multiple priorities in both individual and team settings.
  • Work involves exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases, with physical demands such as prolonged sitting, standing, walking, and manual dexterity.

  • Overall, the APP provides essential healthcare services in a dynamic environment requiring technical expertise, emotional resilience, and teamwork.
