Immediate openings for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing or interested in geriatric psychiatry in Bloomington, IL.
This flexible, day-time position offers full-time or part-time hours with no weekends or on-call. Benefits include a dedicated practice manager, interdisciplinary teamwork, and state-of-the-art systems. Full benefits are available for full-time roles, with some for part-time.
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment of geriatric patients in various facilities.
- Prescribe and adjust psychotropic medications (excluding therapy).
- See 12-15 patients daily and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensure documentation meets Medicare standards.
Qualifications:
- NP or PA degree from an accredited university with valid licensing and DEA#.
- Excellent communication and knowledge of mental health care delivery.
- Preferred: 1+ year experience with geriatric mental health and Medicare standards.
Compensation starts at $55/hour, with 401(k) and flexible scheduling. Requires Master’s degree (preferred), NP or PA license, and DEA license (preferred). This role is primarily on the road, supporting long-term care facilities.
