The Advance Practice Provider (APP) (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) provides high-quality patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nurses. The APP evaluates, diagnoses, monitors, and manages patients using advanced assessment skills and clinical knowledge, collaborating closely with supervising physicians.
Qualifications include:
Post Graduate Degree and licensure as an Advanced Practice Clinician or Physician Assistant
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
No prior experience required
Necessary skills:
Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills
Analytical, mathematical, and comprehension abilities
Proficiency in computer applications, including Excel and medical record charting
Work environment and physical demands:
Ability to manage stress and make decisions under pressure
Work in confined or crowded areas, handle multiple priorities, and work independently
Exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases
Medium physical effort, including standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Good manual dexterity, vision, and hearing required
