Join a dynamic 28-bed Minimally Invasive Progressive Care Unit (PCU) providing specialized care for post-operative and intermediate care patients, including bariatric, hernia, mastectomy, and other minimally invasive procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Educating patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration
- Participating in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Developing and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients
- Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and cultural factors
Qualifications:
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (RN license required)
- New graduates and experienced RNs welcome; Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2+ years of experience
- Ability to work safely and maintain alertness, with a focus on patient safety
