The Nurse Manager, under the Nurse Director’s guidance, oversees all unit functions to ensure high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.
Coordinates staffing, admission processes, and surge plans based on census, acuity, and service needs.
Collaborates with leadership to adjust resource allocation across campuses and maintains compliance with regulatory standards.
Supports staff development through onboarding, education, and certification encouragement.
Manages staff schedules, addresses issues, and fosters a positive team environment aligned with ICARE values.
Participates in strategic planning, monitors clinical quality, and promotes service excellence.
Maintains budget-conscious resource management and ensures a safe environment of care.
Requires at least 3 years of clinical experience, RN licensure, and an associate’s degree (bachelor’s preferred).
Work schedule varies; full-time position at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital, WV.
