We are seeking a compassionate Assistant Nurse Manager to lead a 42-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Nurse Manager with daily operations, clinical oversight, staff development, and maintaining high patient care standards.
- Managing personnel, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
- Ensuring staffing levels meet departmental goals, overseeing staff productivity, and managing budgets and resource allocation.
- Creating and implementing collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.
- Coordinating staff schedules, approving payroll, and conducting performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
- Fostering a positive, collaborative work environment with strong communication and organizational skills.
Qualifications include:
- BSN required; RN license essential.
- 2+ years of RN experience, with preferred experience in ICU and leadership roles.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential.
