Role: Nurse Educator, a clinical practitioner with advanced nursing skills, responsible for designing, facilitating, and assessing educational programs for nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with departments to identify training needs and develop curricula to address competency requirements.
Conduct annual assessments and create year-long training plans to bridge educational gaps.
Facilitate training sessions for nurses and provide constructive feedback.
Support onboarding of new Patient Care Services employees, ensuring they gain essential knowledge for success.
Collaborate with nursing teams to promote a culture of inquiry, teamwork, and clinical excellence.
Participate in Shared Governance activities and uphold organizational policies and standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
Active RN license (single-state or multi-state Compact).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
