Role Overview:
We are seeking a Trauma Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a leading Level I Trauma Center. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for diverse trauma and acute surgical patients, including those with motor vehicle injuries, gunshot wounds, amputations, falls, spinal and brain injuries. Nurses develop specialized expertise on combined trauma and geriatric units with a capacity of 63 beds. Responsibilities include patient education, safety promotion, care plan development, and participation in professional growth activities. Opportunities exist for advancement into emergency, intensive care, or leadership roles. The team fosters a supportive, collaborative environment emphasizing teamwork, mentorship, and excellence.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Completion of nursing program and licensure within 90 days.
- Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
- No prior experience required.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team.
