Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Full-time, Day Shift

Role: Nuclear Medicine Technologist responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals and radiation procedures for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes using specialized equipment.
  • Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Document all pertinent information related to radioactive materials and surveys.
  • Obtain patient information and provide preparation instructions.
  • Ensure procedure quality control and coordinate patient flow.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma/certificate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program (required).
  • State Nuclear Medicine License (required in CA and HI).
  • Certification by ARRT or NMTCB (required in CA and OR).
  • Venipuncture certification (required in CA and HI).
  • Knowledge of radiation safety, patient care, and procedure protocols.

Key requirements: Administer radioactive materials, perform diagnostic procedures, document accurately, and maintain high standards of safety and quality. Must adhere to vaccination policies and participate in E-Verify. The role demands technical proficiency, attention to detail, and effective communication within healthcare settings.
