Role: Nuclear Medicine Technologist responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals and radiation procedures for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes using specialized equipment.
- Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
- Document all pertinent information related to radioactive materials and surveys.
- Obtain patient information and provide preparation instructions.
- Ensure procedure quality control and coordinate patient flow.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma/certificate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program (required).
- State Nuclear Medicine License (required in CA and HI).
- Certification by ARRT or NMTCB (required in CA and OR).
- Venipuncture certification (required in CA and HI).
- Knowledge of radiation safety, patient care, and procedure protocols.
