Role Overview:
This position involves performing nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging, therapeutic procedures, and quality control tasks. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, performs studies independently, and may work in on-call situations, portable exams, and various sites. Key responsibilities include operating BJH Nuclear Medicine, PET, and Theranostics treatments with Dosimetry imaging.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalent (or higher)
- Nuclear Medicine Tech Certification (RT (N) or CNMT)
- Experience in nuclear medicine, PET, radiotracer, or related fields is preferred; new grads are encouraged to apply
- Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois), CPR certification
Key Duties:
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures
- Perform studies independently and across different work settings
- Participate in on-call rotations with compensation for call time
