Role Overview:
This position involves performing nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging, therapeutic procedures, and quality control. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts studies independently, and manages on-call, portable, and site-specific exams. The role includes working with advanced imaging technologies, such as PET and Theranostics treatments, to support diagnostic and therapeutic needs.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures
- Perform imaging studies independently and in on-call situations
- Assist with quality control and operate nuclear medicine equipment
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency
- Nuclear Medicine Tech Certification (RT (N) or CNMT)
- Preferred experience in nuclear medicine, PET, tomography, or radiation safety
- Up-to-date licenses and certifications, including CPR
