Nuclear CV Services Technician supports high-quality cardiovascular diagnostics by preparing patients, assisting with nuclear stress testing, and performing cardiovascular imaging procedures.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for nuclear/cardiovascular imaging and support procedures with compassionate care
- Perform accurate image acquisition and ensure proper data transfer
- Handle radiopharmaceuticals safely and consistently follow radiation safety protocols
- Conduct quality control checks on imaging equipment
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other technologists to deliver coordinated patient care
Qualifications & skills:
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular nuclear imaging and imaging workflow
- Commitment to radiation safety and safe radiopharmaceutical handling
- Ability to maintain accuracy in image acquisition and equipment QC
- Excellent patient-focused communication and teamwork skills
