Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine examinations under physician supervision. Responsibilities include preparing and administering radioactive and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals, calibrating equipment, ensuring quality control, and monitoring patients. The role requires preparing patients, performing calculations, and managing data according to established parameters.

Qualifications include:

  • Education meeting certification, licensure, or registration standards
  • Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification or temporary license
  • American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire
  • Within 6 months, either a National Registered Technologist or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist credential

Preferred experience:

  • At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Key skills and duties:
    Performing nuclear medicine procedures, preparing radioactive materials, calibrating and maintaining equipment, ensuring safety and quality, monitoring patients, and adhering to established protocols. The role involves working on-site, with a focus on patient-centered care within a collaborative healthcare environment.
