Seeking a registered nurse or nurse practitioner to provide in-home medical care within a designated area, covering McDowell, Buncombe, and Burke counties.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing patient care
- Developing and updating individualized care plans
- Performing basic nursing procedures such as IV placement, blood draws, injections, and wound care
- Educating patients and their families on disease management and wellness
- Collaborating with healthcare teams, including PCPs, specialists, and post-acute providers
- Participating in quality initiatives and staying current with medical research
Qualifications include:
- Current RN/NP license and certification (AANP or ANCC)
- Ability to obtain DEA prescriptive authority if required
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Preferred: 2+ years of clinical experience in primary, geriatric, or home health care
