Provide specialized critical care for neurological and neurosurgical patients in a 25-bed ICU.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ conditions and identify care needs.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
- Continuously monitor for changes in neurological status and overall condition.
- Deliver high-acuity nursing interventions and manage emergent patient needs.
- Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Communicate assessment findings and care updates to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong critical care and neurological/neurosurgical patient care expertise.
- Ability to assess, prioritize, and respond rapidly to patient changes.
- Proficiency in care planning, monitoring, and evidence-based clinical decision-making.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills with multidisciplinary providers.
