Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care in an outpatient setting, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient-centered care, educating patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment needs, and medications. Ensures safety and quality compliance while participating in professional development. Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team and patients, considering psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs. Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate patient conditions and barriers to involvement. This safety-sensitive position requires alertness and safe work practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Valid RN license.
- No prior experience necessary; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
- Experience in spine and/or cranial procedures is preferred.
