Neurology Nurse Manager

Role Overview

Responsible for coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and overseeing statistical data.
Provides leadership by hiring, training, assigning, and evaluating staff performance to support departmental goals.
Participates in staffing, budgeting, and resource management to ensure efficient operations.
Delivers patient care aligned with planned interventions, documentation, and collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.
Monitors staff productivity, manages daily staffing needs, and conducts performance reviews.
Supports staff scheduling, payroll reconciliation, and disciplinary actions as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2-5 years, with supervisory experience preferred; RN licensure required.
  • Skills: Leadership, staff management, patient care coordination, budget management, documentation, and communication skills.

Key Duties

  • Manage staff including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
  • Develop and adhere to staffing, revenue, and expense budgets.
  • Oversee patient care, ensuring interventions meet patient needs and policies.
  • Lead staff scheduling, payroll, and disciplinary processes.
  • Support departmental operational goals and performance improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and 5-10 years of experience.
  • Less than 2 years of supervisory experience acceptable if qualified.
