Neurology Clinical Nurse

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Focuses on patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration. Participates in promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with goals in collaboration with patients, families, and the interprofessional team, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
  • Contributes to a healing environment by educating patients and families and promoting safety and quality standards.
  • Works in a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree; preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; 2 years preferred for advanced roles.
