Role Overview: This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining and purchasing equipment, and overseeing departmental operations within a rehabilitation unit. The role includes hiring, training, evaluating staff, and ensuring productivity aligns with departmental goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage staff performance, conduct performance reviews, and handle disciplinary actions.
- Develop and oversee staffing plans, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate patient care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
- Ensure documentation compliance and facilitate effective communication within the team.
- Support staff scheduling, overtime management, payroll reconciliation, and staff communication.
- Maintain equipment and oversee its proper use and procurement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RN license with a nursing diploma or associate’s degree; bachelor’s preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience; supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Additional Requirements: Experience in neurology is preferred. The role may involve working days with flexibility for night shifts during urgent staffing needs.
