Role Overview: This position supports the operational functions of a Neuro Step Down unit, overseeing team management, staff communication, and regulatory compliance. It involves participating in on-call rotations and ensuring clinical and service excellence.
- Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage staff, monitor staffing levels and payroll, develop action plans based on audits and patient outcomes, handle service recovery, and ensure regulatory readiness through audits and training.
- Staff Management: Conduct hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and professional development. Assign nursing duties, manage workload, and address disciplinary actions.
- Operational Duties: Prepare reports, analyze trends, support budget adherence, and coordinate staff communications and meetings. Ensure compliance with competencies and safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RN license required.
- 2-5 years of experience; preferred bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years of experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
