Role Overview: The Nurse Manager oversees the Neuro Step Down Department, ensuring clinical and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise staff, manage staffing levels, and oversee performance evaluations. Participate in budget development and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Coordinate patient care, monitor outcomes, and support service recovery efforts. Lead staff communication, conduct audits, and ensure competency and environmental readiness. Manage payroll, timecards, and staffing schedules, including overtime and onboarding. Collaborate with leadership for operational improvements and staff development.Qualifications & Skills: RN licensure with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 2-10 years of nursing experience, with supervisory experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage budgets, compliance, and staff performance effectively.Additional Details: The role offers full benefits, a sign-on bonus, and primarily evening shifts with occasional overnight support.
