Provide occupational therapy in outpatient neuro, inpatient rehabilitation, and acute care settings. Deliver client-centered assessment and treatment for neurological conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, and vestibular disorders, while collaborating within a multidisciplinary therapy team.
Key duties
- Evaluate functional performance and occupational needs related to neurological impairment.
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills, mobility-related function, and participation.
- Coordinate care and communicate progress with the multidisciplinary team.
- Support safe function in acute and rehabilitation environments.
Required qualifications & skills
- Licensure/certification as an occupational therapist.
- Strong clinical skills in neuro-focused occupational therapy.
- Experience treating neurological and vestibular conditions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication and patient-centered care approach.
