Responsibilities:
- Provide multi-systemic therapy to juvenile offenders with severe mental illness, violent behavior, or substance abuse issues, at risk of out-of-home placement
- Prepare assessments, treatment plans, and court reports
- Conduct brief assessments, crisis interventions, and pre-screens
- Transport consumers as needed
- Be available by phone outside standard hours
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in a mental health discipline
- Licensed by Michigan Department of Commerce or Professional Regulation (LLMSW, LMSW, TLLP, LLP, LLPC, LPC)
- Must meet Child Mental Health Professional requirements and become fully licensed within 30 months
- 1-2 years’ experience working with children/adolescents with serious mental health or antisocial behaviors
- Strong computer, interpersonal, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation for home visits and safe driving permit
