We are seeking a skilled mental health professional to provide multi-systemic therapy services to juvenile offenders with severe mental illness, violent behavior, or substance use issues at risk of out-of-home placement.
The role includes preparing assessments, treatment plans, court reports, and offering crisis intervention and brief assessments as needed. The position requires transportation for consumer visits and availability outside standard hours by phone.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in a mental health discipline
- Licensed by Michigan Department of Commerce or Professional Regulation (LLMSW, LMSW, TLLP, LLP, LLPC, LPC)
- Must meet Child Mental Health Professional requirements and become fully licensed within 30 months
- 1-2 years’ experience with children/adolescents with serious mental illness or antisocial behaviors
- Strong computer, interpersonal, organizational, and independent work skills
- Reliable transportation and safe driving permit
