Responsibilities involve delivering multi-systemic therapy to juvenile offenders with severe mental illness, behavioral issues, or substance abuse risks, including assessments, treatment planning, court reporting, crisis intervention, and transportation. Availability by phone outside standard hours is required.
Qualifications include a Master’s in a mental health field, licensure from the Michigan Department of Commerce or Professional Regulation (LLMSW, LMSW, TLLP, LLP, LLPC, or LPC), with a goal to become fully licensed within 30 months. Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience treating children/adolescents with serious mental health issues, strong computer and interpersonal skills, reliable transportation, and a safe driving record.
