We are seeking a dedicated mental health professional to provide multi-systemic therapy services to juvenile offenders with severe mental illness, violent behavior, or substance abuse issues, at risk of out-of-home placement.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, and preparing court reports
- Performing brief assessments, crisis interventions, and pre-screens as needed
- Providing transportation to clients and being available by phone outside standard hours
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in an appropriate mental health discipline
- Licensure as LLMSW, LMSW, TLLP, LLP, LLPC, or LPC in Michigan
- Must meet Child Mental Health Professional requirements and become fully licensed within 30 months
- 1-2 years of experience working with children/adolescents with serious mental health issues
- Strong computer, interpersonal, organizational, and independent work skills
- Reliable transportation for visits and a safe driving record
