MRI Technologist – Weekender Rotation

Role: MRI Technologist I responsible for performing imaging procedures and ensuring patient safety in a clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform neuro, body, and extremity MRI scans following radiologist protocols.
  • Prepare, position, and explain procedures to patients, addressing questions and ensuring safety standards.
  • Administer IV contrast and perform venous access as directed.
  • Enter data into imaging systems, process images, and identify anatomy accurately.
  • Conduct quality control tests on equipment, report malfunctions, and notify maintenance personnel.
  • Manage supplies, act as a radiology liaison, and support physicians with imaging needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT or equivalent required upon hire.
  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technology training program.
  • Ability to handle non-controlled medications and operate imaging systems proficiently.
  • Knowledge of MRI safety, anatomy, and imaging procedures.
