Role Overview:
This position is for an Advanced Modality MRI Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using Siemens MRI machines. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, conducting independent studies, including on-call and portable exams, and ensuring high-quality imaging for complex cases.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
- Perform studies independently and in various settings as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR.
- Experience in MRI, CT, RT, X-ray, or radiology preferred; no experience required for entry-level candidates.
- Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois), and certifications like ARRT, CI, VI, among others.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience, CPR, and IV therapy certifications.
Key Duties & Requirements:
- Operate advanced imaging modalities for adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintain quality control standards and adhere to safety protocols.
- Possess necessary licenses and certifications to perform imaging procedures.
