MRI Technologist (PRN)

Role Overview: This position is for a PRN MRI Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily using advanced Siemens MRI machines, on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, executing studies independently, and managing on-call, portable exams, and various site-specific tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform imaging procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare patients and operate imaging equipment.
  • Conduct studies independently, including on-call and portable exams.
  • Ensure quality control and optimal imaging outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate degree or higher in a related field.
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR.
  • Experience in MRI, CT, radiology, or medical imaging is preferred, with no prior supervisor experience required.
  • Licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI) and certifications including RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience, CPR, and intravenous therapy certifications.
