Role Overview:
This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as MRI, CT, radiography, and other medical imaging techniques on both adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment purposes. The role requires preparing patients and equipment, performing studies independently or in on-call situations, and ensuring quality control.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
- Perform imaging studies independently, including portable and on-site exams.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) or relevant licenses such as IEMA, RTR, CT, MR, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.
- Preferred experience of 2+ years in medical imaging modalities.
- Additional certifications like Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Intravenous Therapy are advantageous.
