MRI Technologist – Per Diem

Role Overview: MRI Technologists utilize radiofrequency within a magnetic field to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, or research imaging. They independently conduct MRI procedures, prepare and administer medications as prescribed, and analyze data for accurate diagnosis.


Key Responsibilities: Ensure proper patient identification and preparation, optimize imaging protocols for safety and quality, evaluate images for accuracy, and verify data transfer. They also educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, assist with interventional procedures, and apply safety principles to minimize risks. Participation in quality improvement activities and adherence to organizational policies are essential.


Qualifications & Skills: Certification by ARRT (R or MR), ARMRIT, or NMTCB required. Education includes graduation from a radiologic technology program; a related bachelor’s degree is preferred. Proficiency in routine and complex tasks, attention to safety, and collaborative attitude are essential.
