Role Overview:
This position is for a Full-Time Charge MRI Radiology Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, in a fast-paced hospital environment. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts independent studies, and manages daily shift operations, including workflow and prioritization. They serve as a clinical resource, mentoring staff, troubleshooting issues, and acting as a liaison between the team and supervisors. The role involves delegating tasks, assisting in training, and ensuring quality control.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR
- 2+ years of experience; experience in leadership or supervisory roles preferred
- Licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, and others depending on location
- Strong technical skills in MRI and related imaging modalities
- Ability to problem-solve, mentor, and communicate effectively
