Role Overview:
This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as MRI, on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts studies independently, and ensures quality control.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in MRI and other advanced modalities.
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging studies.
- Conduct studies independently, including on-call and portable exams.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist (RT R) and/or MR.
- No prior experience required; preferred experience includes 2+ years in medical imaging.
- Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois), ARRT, RT, MR, and other relevant certifications.
- CPR and IV therapy certifications are preferred.
Key Duties & Requirements:
- Day shifts with no weekends or holidays.
- Work in outpatient facilities, performing diagnostic procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain quality control and patient safety standards.
