Role Overview:
Seeking a Full-Time Charge MRI Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role involves independent operation of imaging studies, supervising shift workflow, and serving as a clinical resource and mentor for technologists and trainees. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, managing daily operations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring quality control. The technologist will also act as a liaison between staff and supervisors, communicate effectively, and maintain necessary supplies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher)
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR
- 2-5 years of experience; experience in leadership or supervisory roles preferred
- Licenses including IEMA (excluding MRI), and certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES
- Preferred: 5-10 years of experience and additional certifications like Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Key Duties:
- Perform diagnostic MRI procedures independently and in various clinical settings
- Oversee shift operations, manage workflow, and adjust priorities accordingly
- Mentor and problem-solve for technologists and students
- Serve as a clinical resource and liaison, ensuring effective communication and supplies management
- Assist with quality control, troubleshooting, and patient care
