MRI Technologist – Night Shift (Part-Time)

Role Overview:

Seeking a Full-Time Charge MRI Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role involves independent operation of imaging studies, supervising shift workflow, and serving as a clinical resource and mentor for technologists and trainees. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, managing daily operations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring quality control. The technologist will also act as a liaison between staff and supervisors, communicate effectively, and maintain necessary supplies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher)
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR
  • 2-5 years of experience; experience in leadership or supervisory roles preferred
  • Licenses including IEMA (excluding MRI), and certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES
  • Preferred: 5-10 years of experience and additional certifications like Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Key Duties:

  • Perform diagnostic MRI procedures independently and in various clinical settings
  • Oversee shift operations, manage workflow, and adjust priorities accordingly
  • Mentor and problem-solve for technologists and students
  • Serve as a clinical resource and liaison, ensuring effective communication and supplies management
  • Assist with quality control, troubleshooting, and patient care
