MRI Technologist – Night Shift

Role Overview: Performs Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures at a technical level, ensuring patient safety and quality image production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares, positions, and explains MRI procedures to patients, addressing questions and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Performs neuro, body, and extremity MRI scans following radiologist protocols.
  • Administers IV contrast, manages imaging data, and processes images accurately.
  • Identifies anatomy on images and conducts equipment quality control, reporting malfunctions.
  • Acts as a liaison for radiological support, manages supply levels, and handles non-controlled medications during procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMRIT required; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program; a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of MRI safety, imaging procedures, and equipment maintenance.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a clinical environment.

The role involves providing expert MRI imaging support, maintaining safety standards, and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care.
