MRI Technologist – Night Shift

Role Overview: This position is for a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). The role involves performing imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality diagnostic images.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI procedures across various body regions following radiologist protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and answer questions to ensure comfort and understanding.
  • Administer IV contrast, perform venous access, and handle non-controlled medications.
  • Enter data into imaging systems, process images, and identify anatomical structures.
  • Conduct equipment quality control and report malfunctions.
  • Assist with supply management, act as a liaison to physicians, and support radiological needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or similar, with ongoing certification requirements.
  • Graduate of a radiologic technology training program; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Knowledge of MRI safety standards, imaging procedures, and anatomy recognition.
  • Ability to operate imaging equipment, perform quality control, and communicate effectively.
