Role Overview:
We are seeking a Full-time MRI Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, on adult and pediatric patients to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
Key duties include preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently, during on-call situations, and portable exams.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Trade School education
- Registered as R.T. (R) or MRI registered; cross-training in MRI preferred
- Licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI); certifications like RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES
- No prior experience required, but 2+ years preferred
- CPR and Intravenous Therapy certifications are advantageous
Skills required include technical proficiency in imaging procedures, patient care, and equipment handling. The role involves working 12-hour shifts on specific days, with call rotation every 5th weekend.
