Role Overview: This position involves providing safe, high-quality MRI imaging services through technical procedures, patient care, equipment operation, and quality control. The technologist performs a variety of diagnostic procedures independently, ensuring patient comfort and safety while adhering to established protocols.
- Responsibilities include: obtaining clinical history, preparing patients, administering contrast agents, positioning and immobilizing patients, and ensuring image quality.
- Responding to emergencies, maintaining equipment, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Communicating effectively with patients and team members, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns.
- Supporting departmental operations such as restocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and managing patient flow.
- Participating in training, documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum one year of successful MRI program completion.
- Licenses/certifications: ARMRIT or ARRT-MRI and BLS or equivalent.
- Knowledge of MRI procedures, anatomy, pathology, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication, customer service, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
