Position Overview:
As an MRI Technologist, you will perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing diseases. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality imaging standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment, position patients, and administer contrast media
Review patient history and monitor patient condition during procedures
Ensure safety protocols, infection control, and proper film critique
Assist with quality assurance activities and manage daily schedules
Transport patients, provide pre-procedure communication, and support staff with bookings
Maintain equipment, supplies, and work area cleanliness
May instruct students and participate in staff meetings and training
Qualifications & Skills:
High School diploma or equivalent
Certification as a CT/MRI Technologist and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Proven technical problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities
ACLS may be required; BLS preferred
2+ years of MRI experience is preferred
