Role Overview:
Seeking an MRI Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, with cross-training opportunities for other modalities. The role requires preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently, and managing on-call, portable exams, and site-specific tasks. The technician will ensure quality and safety standards are met while delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
- Perform studies independently, including on-call and portable exams.
- Maintain quality control and adhere to safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or equivalent trade school training.
- Licenses and certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES; IEMA for Illinois (excluding MRI).
- Preferred: minimum of 2 years’ experience, CPR, and IV therapy certification.
- Ability to cross-train in MRI if registered as R.T.(R).
