Role Summary
Performs MRI procedures following departmental protocols, operating MRI scanners and related equipment to ensure both patient safety and high-quality imaging.
Key Duties
- Verify imaging orders and ensure appropriate procedure details before scanning.
- Prepare, monitor, and support patients throughout MRI examinations.
- Administer IV contrast as required and maintain safe contrast administration practices.
- Assist with invasive or specialized procedures when needed.
- Document patient care and exam-related information accurately.
- Maintain MRI equipment functionality and keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

- Proficiency operating MRI scanners and associated imaging technology.
- Strong focus on patient safety, comfort, and risk awareness.
- Ability to follow established protocols and ensure consistent image quality.
- Competence in patient preparation, monitoring, and medical documentation.

- Ability to assist during invasive procedures and collaborate with the care team.
