Role Overview:
Seeking a highly skilled MRI Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, on adult and pediatric patients. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, executing studies independently, and ensuring quality control. Cross-training in MRI is available for registered RTs.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
- Perform studies independently, including on-call and portable exams.
- Maintain quality assurance standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Associate degree or trade school equivalent.
- Licenses & Certifications: IEMA (Illinois), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES; CPR and IV Therapy preferred.
- Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MRI procedures and patient care.
Key Duties & Requirements:
- Work 12-hour shifts, 3 days weekly, with call and holiday rotations.
- Participate in cross-training if registered RT.
